I fucking hate my computer.

I was 6 hours in on this when I safety-saved and the file suddenly broke out into digital hives or something, and completely corrupted four layers, which I had to redo--TWICE-- so if a lot of it seems really crappy or rushed (and no bg) it's because my computer was on the verge of barfing its guts up and I didn't want to lose all that work.

Or because I'm lazy. *shrug* But the hives thing really happened, honest.

Lani from FF9. This is going to seem completely ridiculous to anyone who hasn't played the game, but I think her ax is too small. I'm not even joking. >:|

I TRIED, I really did! But when I fudged with her proportions, it just didn't work! Trust me, I'm disappointed, too.

I'll have to make up for it when I draw Beatrix...

I love her face, its just so emotive, and it fits her action perfectly.

... I-I always get stuck staring at torsos in your drawings...

Maybe the ax is the right size and Lani is a giant? y/y? :D

I love her pose, it's very dynamic and action-like. Lani always did have a huge....axe, didn't she?

The axe is a little small, but it doesn't matter because she's so fierce. And I love her boots -- I don't remember them being so... cute. :3
